AVATAR: more than just a 3D movie! did you all feel the LOVE?
1) a state of physical ease and freedom from pain or constraint,
2) consolation for grief or anxiety.
Comfort comes from something that either physically or mentally calms you. It is a familiar feeling, environment or state of mind. That is why we call it the comfort ZONE. For someone who has never been nude around anybody but their parents and maybe a GF/BF or two being in a crowded place bare naked is as far from a familiar or normal feeling or state of being.. that is discomfort... Likewise someone who spends their life running around crowded partied buck nekkid and handing out spanking to everyone probably wouldn't feel so comfortable dressed up in a business suit giving a presentation to a bunch of stuffy corporate stiffs.
There is no list you could write to list all the things that make people uncomfortable because it will be different for every last person, it is whatever they are not used to doing or have tried... The trick here is that discomfort isn't always a bad thing because discomfort is synonymous with adrenaline which is fairly close to EXCITEMENT!!!! The trick is does the amount of excitement you get from the act counter and override the discomfort. For some then answer is no, they don't like adrenaline and they are not really excited by such so it's not worth it, they will never enjoy things that discomfort them. Some people have certain things that excite and arouse them and even though they are not comfortable the excitement for out weighs it all.
Also if you think about it that corporate meeting must be perdy exciting to the client who has million dollar contracts riding on it! It's all about different strokes baby ;p

I happen to have a lot of friends that aren't freaks for better or worse. I do like to freak up their lives as much as they let me.

I can pretend not to be a freak when I need to! ha
people need us freaking them up! this world would be so boring without freaks

There's so much secrecy, "let's just keep it to ourselves" I hate that. Let 'em all in–mix it up!

And I'd say: Confront your comfort zone on a daily basis!
Break the rules, become a rule-breaker!
Real happiness lies always outside our comfort zone...(but within ourselves...!)
