bohemian crush: boho 101: collaborations…life is all about the collaborations

  • Catwoman69y2k · 2 months ago
These blogs are great "articles" more than blogs because they are more about a message and idea that can be universally understood and read, rather than a mere recollection of personal experience. Then again, maybe I think of them as articles because they are "the story of boho". :) I hope that you make an anthology someday. The imagery really helps get one in the mood.

PS: Catspiracy loves the 4 agreements. She is also going through some personal growth that is really changing how she thinks. Despite that I am not on the same type of growth as her, life is growth so I am enjoying in watching the evolution.

    thanks goddess,

it helps getting feedback. I do my best to listen to the voices that continue to call out, and I try to share our truths to help communicate. so appreciate your love always!

life is always about growth, we are all at different stages. takes self love and self awareness :)

Oh those are very good, and I do think I needed to remind myself of all of those, even as I instinctively say some of those things to others...

    zebra,

you know I love to write about it because it helps me so much. i'm always reminding myself!!! I am working on my "don't make assumptions", this prevents full communication, I'm so thankful I have blogs to constantly pull thoughts and words out of my head. :) All of the writing I do anywhere is the best thing I could have ever started!!! I can't believe I only started a few years ago, but am so thankful I have only but everyday to look forward to for the rest of my life. I hope to become the best listener and communicator that I can be :)

Yeah. Assuming is a bad idea. Its better to ask questions. I think it encourages more social intercourse and gives you a chance to meet on a human race level since we are all in the same boat when it comes down to it. Besides, you know what happens when you assume right?

It always makes an ASS out of U and ME.
  • @gcrush · 2 months ago
I love that! social intercourse ;) and yes, keeping it real, and truly sharing what brings me bliss, I can do that anytime, anyday :)

I like to save the ASS for other things ;) ha ha

Incidentally, I could totally picture you writing this as it went from the direction of defining collaboration in both a simple (concise) and more complex(deeper) way....only to take us to more terms. Too bad "bohoictionary" is too clunky of a word but I think a space on your site for this stuff would be great! References of all these books would always be helpful so that we always have a spot to find all the lovely inspiration you find and be encouraged to add to it.

Oh, I see how this ship could steer itself. Just think, while someone else steers you and the first mate could have some fun in the ships cabin ;)

that's a great idea! maybe I will create a page on the blog, hmmmm I was thinking about that before, same thing for the books, I wish there was a cool widget that could link to a source where the books could easily be purchased for you readers....I will keep my eyes open :)

as far as definitions: would it be better as a page with definitions, or just the blog posts themself?
  • Catwoman69y2k · 2 months ago
Im actually working on a dictionary as we speak. In my case it is a bit simpler as it is a dictionary/glossary for a fiction book that Im a big fan of. The terms I am covering are more for cultural items since this book surrounds these anthro creatures with wings that live on a world with tribal cultures like the old ways.

In your case, I see how you have to re-wrangle your thoughts every so often (like this entry where you got into other boho definitions outside of the collaboration), especially because your definitions are in depth CONCEPTS. That said, it might be best to have a page (vs just the blog posts) with just the definitions in a more concise form, and have each definition have a "Related blog posts" link underneath the definition. To me, pages are for static content (or rather, mostly static content). Blogs are more for the "as life is happening, I am doing or thinking these things." So, that is my reasoning of why I think the boho dictionary should be put in page(s).

However, I warn you, if the amount of definitions get too large before you do this, it might require more help or waiting for a time period where you are in the ambitious mood to plug away at this for a good long period of time. Just remember that with the new site you have going, there is room for some more open-source meeting of the minds that might aid in this. Up to you though since I know that this is the method *I* would do it, which may not fit into how you steer your ship. ;)

I believe there is a widget for what you describe. I know Drupal has one for sure. Im working on alot of sites actually but I have a "fun time" slot where I have been getting into fun stuff like that. A boho template has been formulating in my head as well. Been trying things the boho way which is probably what is doing it.

Incidentally if you ever feel like collaborative sessions, I been loving what I am seeing with Google Wave. :)

    goddess..
you really know how to write the right thing at a time of beautiful synchronicity in my path. :)
I have been learning so much on my current little adventure. As i'm observing and listening i am seeing examples of exactly what happens when people don't honor each other and themselves in the ways you have described.
I have always know these definitions in my heart. I'm seeing an entire community of unfamiliar characters unfold around me and they are all shedding light on my truth of what a beautiful boho butterfly is.

i'm seeing how important it is to honor each other and our paths and be in the moment as each person i encounter has a message and i just need to be open to receiving those messages. If i'm not open i will close myself to the possibilities that are all around me.

another thing that i love about boho that you did not mention in this post with words, but hinted at with pictures, is boho earth:) the way i treat the planet reflects the way i treat my community. It is important for me to love and honor the earth i walk as it is the one thing that provides energy for me even when i am not consciously aware of it. The plants, animals, land, mystikal creatures, and many other organisms are all giving an energy that i may harvest for my own progress as long as i am actively giving back the energy i take into the earth i took it from.
caring for this planet is just as important as caring for one another.. that is one thing i learned immediately when i entered the boho community.

thank you for sharing your light.
    i love you!
